What do we have to do to have quality umpiring at what are suppose to be premier USSSA events. The umpires this entire weekend were terrible. I even spoke to one of the guys we know from Atlanta and he stated this was the weakest crew he has worked with. Is there a solve? Does USSSA need to charge more and get crews that may actually know the rules? much less a strike zone. Rec umpires just do not get it done at the is level. Thoughts?
