The schedule is out for the first big 13U tournament of 2018. I say big because you have both 13U Astros teams, GA Jackets National, 643 Cougars, ECB Tigers, ECB 45's Navy, and from out of state, Tennessee Elite. There are 30 teams total, but these are the ones who stand out based on their rosters. Should be a great weekend with the weather predicted to be really nice. Here is the link to the schedule:

Which Stros? There will be two teams. Don't know how the 25+ players will be divided up yet.

LOL..... Maybe it's like old school neighborhood cul-de-sac ball. Pick two captain's and they take turns picking players......

I guess you do have to turn in roster's before game time..... it's the hidden secret.

Are their 13-25 (whomever is on the '2nd' team) that big of a difference that we wouldn't see a Stros v Stros ship?

After seeing the '2nd' team in the fall, they are definitely not equal. There was a noticeable drop-off between the two teams. Unless he splits them down the middle, it's unlikely that they would meet in the championship game with the Jackets National, Tigers, Cougars, 45's Navy, and Tennessee Elite there.

It was a rather, tongue-in-cheek comment, as I doubt the coach will just 'split down the middle', or elect captains to pick teams. I'm pretty sure there will be an 'A-team' and a 'Not-so-much-A team'. The top team will hang with anyone. The other, well, they could experience so short outings. Times must be dire to 'pimp' out your 'marquee' team name to multiple teams in age groups now a days. Maybe everyone over there gets participation awards for even making a team-- regardless of which one of the 7-10 they make in any given age group. HA.

This is the first year that I have seen multiple Astros teams per age group. It began last year with the Colt 45's. Other than the Astros and 45's(Academy Teams), the other teams in each age group are all independent and pay to wear the ECB name. If past history holds up, the coach will form a great 'A' team and a good, but not great, 'B' team.

We played them at PG and had 1 bad inning that made our game look pretty bad. They definitely have a solid pitching rotation they are a very big team as well but definitely beatable. This weekend will be interesting.
