Wow!! The 12u division is stacked.

Here is my Top 5
The Astros will intimidate most.
The Legends have put together an impressive group.
The Shamrocks and Mills Creek will test anybody.
Homeplate is always up to the challenge.

Sleepers... EC Yankees & Longhorns

betterball- I agree about every team you commented on- some VERY good 12u teams this year. I was more less speaking of This weekends Spring Frost tournament- Chiefs and Chilidogs are not in it.So basically I named the same ones you did- except the ECB Braves, who im sure will have a tough team to beat as always and the Longhorns who im sure will be very good as well.

Sorry bambino dad I am new to this web site and do not know exactly how to navigate it quite yet. So I started my own. 12uBob you seem to have four is that it? Seems you left a few contenders out ? Any reason ? Longhorns are stacked from what I hear.I heard they had some of the 12u from last year stay down and they have built from there? Also I hear the Chiefs picked-up stong as well. What about the Legends? I hear they have two players from last years Chiefs? And one pitcher from the year before. And then of course you have the EC Braves that are always gritty. And for Mills Creek I heard they lost one of their strong players to the Astros and Mills Creek is accomplished in AAA but how do you put them above other accomplished Major teams?.And then there is EC Astros lost one of their long time pitchers to a job transfer? And picked one of the Longhorns 12u last year pitchers. So can really simply shorten it to four ? In no order AStros,Shammrocks, Chiefs,Yankees,Longhorns and Homeplate Chilidogs.Sorry some just have not been proven in the Major group.

Seems the 12s don't generate the kind of passion the other age groups do. But I believe both of your questions were the topics of earlier discussions here:

I think in no particualr order that the EC Longhorns, Chiefs Baseball, EC Astros, Mills Creek, Home Plate and EC Shamrocks are all going to be good. I think this weekend tournament Spring Frost as well as Border Wars and the Super Nit will go along way in determining who rises to the top of a very competitive age group.

It is a VERY strong field in the 12u age group. I would say the its up in the air for anyone to win it.I would have to say that The Astros,Shamrocks,, Yankees and Mill Creek are the front runners.
