I was wondering if yesterday was a holiday for high schools could they have baseball tryouts and not be breaking any rules?
Just seems strange to have a practice if the school is closed? I had heard tryouts were going to start yesterday but have not heard if any of them did or if they waited until today? |

My sons HS had the start of tryouts yesterday, as did two others that I know of. That is what happens every year, and I had to take off again this year on MLK day to make sure he had a ride there for noon, and someone else could watch his sister.
Which turned out to be a good thing since they have canceled after school activities for tonight and they will likely have a snow day tomorrow :- ( |

They started yesterday. 1/15 is the first day they are allowed to hold a full practice. |
