I was wondering if yesterday was a holiday for high schools could they have baseball tryouts and not be breaking any rules? Just seems strange to have a practice if the school is closed? I had heard tryouts were going to start yesterday but have not heard if any of them did or if they waited until today?
My sons HS had the start of tryouts yesterday, as did two others that I know of. That is what happens every year, and I had to take off again this year on MLK day to make sure he had a ride there for noon, and someone else could watch his sister.
Which turned out to be a good thing since they have canceled after school activities for tonight and they will likely have a snow day tomorrow :- (
