What’s the best radar gun to use, thats reasonably priced, to clock pitching speeds? I’ve heard of brands like Bushnell and the Pocket Radar, but wasn’t for sure which was the best.

Pocket Radar is good but get the more expensive of the 2. The one with the BLUE button.
Red button is not a reliable and you have to time the button and get a lot of no reads and misreads.

pocket radar ball coach. Blue button like you said. Hold down button and get pitch speed and if you keep holding it you’ll get exit speed of hit . I used one all summer for my 17u son. He played in all the big perfect game events and multiple showcases and that little radar was spot on with the fancy ones being used by scouts and scorekeepers. Can also set it up for auto and it will record 25 pitches automatically for you without touching it. Also keeps past pitches/exit speeds in memory.

Training Legends uses the Pocket Radar Ball Coach in our Showcase Series events. Constant Mode is a godsend!
