• Two-time all Peach Belt Conference (97’-98’)
• Played 10 years in the Italian baseball League
• Two time Olympian with Team Italy (Sydney 00’, Athens 04’)
• Paticipant in The World Baseball Classic in 06’ with team Italy
• Spent 9 seasons on the Italian national Team
• Played on 3 European Championship teams
J.J. Thomas-
• 1994 Graduate of Wheeler High School
• Draftedby the Kansas City Royals 94’
• Attended Georgia Tech from 95’-97’
• First Team all-ACC (1997)
• Second Team all-ACC (95’,96’)
• NCAA all-region selection (1997)
• Drafted by the Houston Astros in the 15th round (1997)
• Played professionally from 97’-00’
• Hit 59 homeruns during his minor league career
