Anyone playing in Battle at the Branch this weekend? There are a ton of teams listed for this one so should turn out to be a great tournament!

Any favorites?

I'm hearing a lot of good things about GA Hurricanes. You know anything about the other teams?

Crossroads Baseball and Rockdale Rhinos seem to be pretty solid teams from what I hear as well, other than that not too familiar with the others.

New to the forum but find this great! The Canes are an exciting group. They are fun to watch, well coached and play the game differently than most teams at this age. You can see the experience of the coaches when you see them play. They have little experience playing against the top level teams but should be able to compete well. I hear they are missing a big player or two for this weekend.

I watched the Hurricanes play parts of their last two games. VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! I don't think there was a single pass ball, or a SB attempt against their catcher in their semi final game, at least while I was watching. The boys all look the same, good sized kids, but athletically built, not a team full of larger boys that just get by on superior size and strength for their age.

There were many solid teams through out the tourny, GA 10U AA baseball is in good shape!
