This tourney is just days away. Anyone here care to make some predictions? <stirring the pot> :-)

Any dark horses in this group? Who makes it to the finals in the Gold?

My personal favorite is HP.

Lots of teams could make it. Top 5 in no order. This could really go lots of ways and I have not seen many of these teams.

Jackhammers
Generals
HP
Scorpions
Astros

Why are the Kennesaw Generals AAA instead of Major? Did they lose a lot of good players from last year?

Our team "Coal Mountain Storm" played the Alpharetta A's in a scrimmage a couple of weeks ago, they have some good talent and could do well in this tournament.

Pool A should see Hurricanes and Bulldogs at the top.
Pool B is the easiest pool out there and is up for grabs from all 4.
Pool C has 3 very good teams in the As, Gens and Dogs.
Pool D should go to the Titans. They are listed as AA but you would swear they were above avg AAA if if you saw them in Dalton last week.
But as the Longhorns and Yankees showed us last week- NO ONE can pick a winner this year. At least not yet.

This is really a great field for a tournament and I think more than half the teams are capable of winning it. I think there are going to be a bunch of 1-1 teams coming out of pool play. Like always, it will come down to pitching depth on Sunday and thats where the Major teams might have an advantage over the AAA/AA teams.

Congrats to the Savannah Bulldogs. They played great baseball. Triple Crown did an excellent job of running the tournament. There was a lot of great baseball played this weekend.

Congrats to the Savannah Bulldogs for winning the Triple Crown Tourney at ATPP this weekend. We witnessed some great baseball this week from all teams and can't wait to see this whole 10u group back at ATPP soon.

Bulldogs played like a major team. Pitching was good, not overpowering, but consistent. They hit the ball outstanding and played solid defense. Congrats on a great tournament.
