Guru you have nothing to defend. The travel ball world is a community. So much of the overall experience is meeting and forming relationships with teams, coaches, and even players from all over the country. Every one of your parents and coaches and players were coming up to our kids and exchanging high fives and wishing good luck. That's what its all about. Sometimes when you dont see friends you have made in the past like Team Miami for quite some time you gravitate towards them without any intention other than to support. I personally know you and coach Boo and the dawg nation and without a doubt you play and cheer the game with passion enthusiasm and proudness! We on the horns love to compete with the Dawgs but we have a friendship too off the field that is cool. Keep those boys cheering regardless of who its for! Congrats on a great weekend...wish we could have joined your party! |

Hey Guru - I'm a fan of the Dogs and always have been, I just thought it was a GA vs FL thing. Go drink a beer when it's over. That's just me. But hey I'm still pulling for the Dogs to take home to GA the Elite 32, I'm tired of Cali coming on here and other boards like the best baseball is played out west which in our age group he has been right. I think you guys or Team Miami have teams that can win it. |

Dang Nutz! Now we (ECB Longhorns) are upset your pulling only for the dawgs to win the elite 32 and represent Georgia! We are hurt! I thought you would be pulling for all the Goergia teams...oh well...we will give it our best shot to win it anyway so that Georgia has a couple of chances to bring it home! |

And1, I'm pulling for all the GA teams in any national event. The depth of talent in GA is as good as any state. I think the Cali teams do a better job building 1 or 2 very strong teams in the younger age groups where we have a lot of talent spread out. Just look at the Majors in CA. I saw you guys where heading to Cooperstown and didn't know you here doing both. GL at the Elites! |

I know Nutz! I was just messing with you. Sometimes a little good hearted ribbing can break the monotony of some of these all too serious posts about 10yr olds! Thanks for the love nonetheless. GL to you as well! |

Cali teams also don't seem to mind carrying 14+ kids at 8,9,10U.....I have nothing against it and I wish more GA teams would make the pickups needed at the end of the season but the Cali teams are something else!! We played against a Cali team at 9 who had flown in to play but also had flown 2 kids who weren't regulars just for Sunday!!! Those people LOVE to win! |

Thanks Nutz for the Bulletin Board Material!! I will make sure I share with all my friends at Oakley,SD Show and So Cal United!! LOL Just Kidding!!
I think they have teams that can win too. There are about 7-10 teams that have a legitimate shot at the Elites. I think Calif has earned the right to say they are the Best, The facts don't lie, Calif. Travels out there every year and win! Last year 3 out of the 6 age groups at the Elites. Does that mean there is no good baseball in GA or Fla.??? NO I think there is Great baseball being played in GA. in fact I think the way you do things out there is better than CA. It is VERY HARD for good teams to stay together in CA. 2 words 'PARENTS" and "EGO" most just don't get it here. They always think the grass is greener and it is not. It is a shame because the only one that suffers is the kid...who is now on the bench. |

Unless I'm missing something in our age group Oakley is the only team that has "earned" the right on a national stage. |
