I would like to say congratulations to ALL of the teams from Georgia. They really represented the the state with class and dignity. Man i'll tell you there was a lot of good quality baseball being played this weekend, with the Yard Dogs playing Team Miami 4 times and winning 2. Shots out to East Cobb longhorns. They limped their way down to Florida and made a strong finish. North Cobb showed that they can play with anybody in the country, and 643 Cougars was 2 runs away from playing in the championship game. Finally, I said it before and i will say it again. When all the dust and smoke clears. The Yard Dogs will be standing strong in the end. It was just tough to beat a great team 4 times. |

Guru, It thought the Yard Dogs only beat Miami 1X in a complete game last weekend. Team Miami started a pitcher who had already reached max innings, which led them to forfeit game 1 of the best of 3 games for the ship. I guess you are considering this your 2nd win vs. Miami. Either way great job to all the teams representing Fl. and GA. last weekend. |

Florida vs. Georgia Tourey: Quality baseball start to finish! Very nice baseball complex with well groomed fields and video streaming for most games. Thanks to USSSA and the park for hosting such a high caliber event.
I only have 1 small recommendation for the future. Have operational scoreboards turned on and working. I'm sure all team's scorekeepers were side tracked with several questions from parents and coaches during the games. Great close games all weekend and question after question: score, outs, inning, count, pitchcount............... |

3up 3dn. I consider those two wins vs. team miami count just like it counted against us when we played Covington Sting. All you all see is that Covington Sting beat us, but in reality, we were up by 2 runs, with no outs, and no one on base. Then we threw a kid not knowing he had threw too many innings. It happens, we lost, it won't happen again. |
