Congrats to Scorpions Baseball for 2nd place finish in their first USSSA tourney!
Tough to find pitching for 5 games in one day. Went 0-2 in pool, knocked off SPXplosion & River City Rattlers in bracket before facing Ringgold in the late night finale. |

| Ringgold is an excellent, extremely talented, well coached team. Congrats to them for winning the tournament. One note to the parents of these kids: Doing your "clapping and chanting" cheerleading routine when the opposing pitcher is pitching is both "bush league and childish." To the tournament director one suggestion: This tournament should have started on Friday night. Having 10 year old kids start a championship game at 10:45 p.m. that ended at midnight is ridiculous. |

| From the perspective from an older age group, the tournament was run poorly. Didn't drag or chalk the fields in between games, and made zero effort to keep the games on time at all. TD was not to be found for the most part. Don't feel bad had the same thing from a parent in a 13u game hollering at the pitcher during his windup. He stopped after a little conversation. Only played 1 game we had a working scoreboard the entire time. Not good at all. |

| those parents support their team always. i can't imagine that group trying to bring down an opposing pitcher or anyone else for that matter. i have always found them to be top notch and some of the most supportive fans i have ever seen. i am sure it can be annoying when they are beating you. but i have seen (heard) them cheering for their team even when they are getting beat up on! |

I've seen Ringgold play a few times this year and have noticed their fans do a clapping cheer throughout the game. If this is want your referring to, I can't see this as being "bush league". Cheering for the batter is okay in my book, but directly yelling at an opposing pitcher is not. I wasn't there so I didn't see it first hand, but the Ringgold fans have been courteous every time we've played them |
