Thanks for the respect. What about OTC? They are the only 11u GA team to beat us this year. RBI should be right there at the top. Our pitching has carried us....I like our chances against all those teams in a three game series. Going back to Florida this weekend. |

I think you also have to consider OTC and Ringgold Baseball Factory when discussing potential top 10 teams. RBF can flat out hit with any team on this list. |

OTC definetly is a top 15 team, you can get away with switching them with the Gamers. One of the Gamers kid ended up in E.Cobb. I would think you would have trouble in a 3 game series with the Astros, Sting is playing well now and maybe RBI, i would love to see it though. You guys have a great team. |

Hmmm, I see the first seven in this list beating up on each other in a three game series any day of the week at this point. Bottom line is great athletes, good coaching and who's hot and who's not at that very instant.
Of course I have my own favorite(s) out of the seven but, on any given Sunday who knows. |

I think this stuff is so arbitrary...ALL of the top GA teams are close. But for the fun of it....
1. Astros 2. Savannah 3. RBI 4. 643 5. Warriors 6. Sting 7. OTC 8. JCS 9. Ringgold 10. Hurricanes 7. |

Yardball how and why would you put RBA in the top 10? |

Why dont you look at Sunday wins and tournament wins? It is that simple to this point in the season. Play in big boy tourneys or stop the BS. Names, coaching, and reputations mean nothing when you get beat every Sunday against quality teams...Yes, some can win in minor tournaments.. I have watched 2 older age group teams play this year with 5 and 6 kids from last years teams. No excuses and no complaints...If it aint travel ball its Rec ball.. |

I agree with SAV's top 10 for the most part. Some additional thoughts
1. Astros - Own Georgia but hasn't done much against top teams outside of state 2. Savannah - tough, very tough and very consistent; seen them multiple times, always impressive 3. RBI - Well coached, competes hard not consistent 4. 643 - Same as RBI, not the same team as last season 5. Warriors - Along with Savannah might be the best offensive team, pitching and defense questionable 6. Sting - havent seem them lately however they appear to be coming along 7. OTC - 8. JCS - like this squad; seem to be gelling, fights hard every tournament 9. Ringgold - solid, but not over whelming 10. Hurricanes - Not sure about them due to inconsistency; I think they are 3-1 against these teams though |

1a. ECB Astros 1b. RBI 3. GA Sting 4. Alpharetta Warriors 5. Savannah Buldogs 6. 643 Cougars 7. 643 Jags 8. Atlanta Blue Jays 9. GA Hurricanes 10a JCS 10b OTC
Also, I would not support the Ringgld BF in the top 10. I think they have played 1 tournament this year that the "big boys" above were in and lost to the Jags first round of bracket. Otherwise they like to stay up north against the AA/AAA and lower level Major teams. |

Its hit or miss for RBA i see your point, they beat the sting early in the season but lost to them later on. Really when it comes down to brass taxes you need to just have a top 5 because the bottom 5 can be hit or miss also. We also fail to see that it is 11 year old baseball and i have seen some crazy stuff, like teams losing in the morning when they had no reason losing. Got to love it..... |

Stevesax - I think you nailed the top 5, the bottom 5 are to up and down for me to think about an order for that group of teams. |

The problem at this age is on most teams you have 5 or 6 really good, consistent players and 4 or 5 that are not so consistent. So, when the 4 or 5 not so consistent players are contributing then that team will usually do very well that weekend and if not, your probably out in the first or second bracket game. However, this is baseball and everybody will slump at some point, guaranteed. Very few teams are stacked from 1 to 11. |

You are right. I think the team will finish but some coaches may not. Children should never be penalized because of adult conduct. |

Stevesax- I think your being a little rough on the Ringgold boys. They have been playing local 12u tournaments the last few weeks. They are playing close to home as their coach is also the Ringgold High School head coach. He has been been working to get his team to the Class AAA State Finals which they will host this coming Monday against Columbus. Hopefully Ringgold will win their first state tile! |

4the game...certainly good luck to the HS team next Monday-Tuesday in the finals and can understand a coaches time commitment. I'm not being rough on RBF, but sharing my honest perspective. When talking about the top 11U GA teams RBF has not (and I could be mistaken) beaten anyone that I know of in those lists above. They did play in the Atl SNIT and 1 TC, but also opted for the ATPP on 4/27 and beat the ECB Dodgers in the final...as opposed to participating in the much tougher draw across town at 643 that weekend where most of the top GA major teams were? They are again up north playing this weekend in Dalton with 15 other teams (only 2 others are 11U major), but a much tougher tournament for them would, IMO, be at 643 where 9 teams are including several of the arguably top 10 teams. Maybe the HS coach needs to be with his HS team over the weekend which is fine, but if I compare results this year I have to leave them off "my" top 10. I appreciate your feedback. |

I guess we will see in the upcoming couple of months as their schedule starts to pick up. The Atlanta teams are lucky to have high level teams to compete with and not have to leave town. Dalton is of course considered local for RBF as you know. I can see that you are very passionate about your opinion and I can respect that. |

Itsbballtime...playing in an AAU tournament in Jax. Outside of the CBC squads I haven't heard of a lot of the teams. Been playing in local 12u tourneys the past few weeks. |

I'd say RBF has as much talent as any team #5-#10 and could hang with the top 5 any given weekend. |

bballguy you're dead on with that and I think the top five will definately be changed a bit based on recent tournaments. Have to wait and see though. Possibly the top seven or so will be shaken up quite a bit.
Teams falling apart, slumps, injuries and pressure to win all play a negative part in the picture while a few teams are holding it together fine and turning the corner as they get stronger.
LOL, should be interesting at the very least.
