I thought I would get you GA baseball experts opinion on a situation in Ca. with a Coach
What would you do if you had a coach that is constantly trying to steal money from the kids on the team. He say's there is a field charge and wants to charge the team, But the City fields are free. This Coach also has tournaments in the teams Name and tells the teams that are coming that it is supporting the team yet all the money from the tournament and Snack bar goes into his pocket. I might add that this coach is paid $100 a month from each Player's family. Also he up charges for Jerseys and Hats every chance he gets. Even though the team has 7 jerseys he tells them they are going to have 3 more and over charges for them. He is constantly trying to Charge the team for different things that he is not entitiled to. It is a Never ending battle with Money.
In my opinion this is the worst type of SCUMBAG in youth sports. It is bad enough we all pay a lot of money to have our boys play, But to have a coach that is all about money is just to much.
If the parents put up with it, it's their problem.
No different than going to a restaurant that overcharges and delivers sub par products. If the patrons continue to support it, what do I care. It's their personal choice.
My personal opinion is in line with yours; the guy's a complete scumbag. But he must be offering something to keep the parents stroking checks in his name.
