Way to go out on limb on that choice. :-)

Don't know too much about the non GA teams but the Warriors are playing some good ball and will be tough to beat.

Yea, the non Georgia teams are for the most part a mystery. The warriors are tough, but they are all 11 year olds just like the other teams. Seeding and weather (heat) will probably play a big part in it all. We are going down there to finish off a decent season and hopefully do some damage to represent "The Georgia Teams"..

Good luck to all the Ga. teams...

Bring it!!!

It's pouring down here, but hoping we get this thing in. Pool play tomorrow doesn't look good. TD has his hands full with this weather.

Charger, Just a heads up. The SA Devils are a legit team from South Texas, I would say they are in the top 4 there not to far behind Banditos,S11 Hustlers or Texas Nationals.
If you get a chance to see the Cave Run Muskee let me know if they are any good. The Editor of Baseball Youth Magazine runs that team, He also runs the Baseball Youth Road Trip. That is his team and they have a lofty record 76-5 or something like that. They are a team that does not play in the "Big" Events and have not played any team considered a top 50 in the country. Just want to see if they are the real deal or not.

Thanks for the heads up and depending on the potentially crunched schedules, will definitely be watching some of these teams or playing them. Will give ya a heads up when I see them. Hopefully, I will get to see some of these teams or play them. Weather channels down here do not say anything positive for this week other than to pray. Lol

Yeah it is looking like AAU in orlando has cancelled games for a second day. It is really going to throw everything off. It will put pressure on teams to have deep pitching.

Its probably gonna be real competitive with those 11 yr olds. I have seen the Rome Titans and they can play. Wish all you teams the best and hope yall get this tourney in without further delay.

The rain can make things interesting in the Grand Slam at PC Beach. When we were 9 year olds I coached the GA Braves and we went to PC for the July 4th tournament. It rained on and off all week. We got put in the loosers bracket and on Sunday we had to play 5 games in a row with the Warriors finally hammering us. We came in 3rd with Warriors second and the Niceville Eagles won it. If you get to much rain, it makes for a very long weekend! Good luck avoiding the H2O! We are there next week!

Cali, just watched the titans beat the Muskie team 6-0. I think ecb scored 3-4 runs on pass balls. One kid had a nice shot to left center. Wouldn't put muskies high up on teams I will hopefully be gunning for next season, but it was their first pool game, so no offense to the team if this comes across badly. 2-1 ball game right now with warriors and muskies in 2nd.

Well the muskies just shut me up and beat the warriors 4-3 in a pretty good ball game. They had a kid pitch 5 full and pitched his butt off in 90 plus heat. They looked awake that game. Devils and warriors have next game. Devils looked good against drillers their first pool. It's plenty hot down here but better than trop storms Sunday.

Thanks CC, Just what I thought. Probably have a few good players but are thin on the bottom end..LOL

Sounds like they would be a low Major or High AAA team to me.

Well were playing in FL now. The AAU Gamechanger is horrible. They have an 80+ year old running it and he gets everything wrong...LOL Hard to follow when he keeps going backwards. I was screaming because I thought the coach pitched my boy the whole game. But he only threw 3 innings and 26 pitches. Coach was laughing when I called him after the game because I was blowing up his Phone during the game via Text.

Good Luck Charger

I watched that Cave Run Muskies vs. Alpharetta Warriors game, as well as lot of other 11U games the last two days. There's no doubt the Warriors are one of the best 11U teams in GA. Also there's no doubt that the Muskies look like a very good team. The took it to the Warriors today. I would expect they both face each other again in the finals if they play to their potential.

Looks like several GA teams are doing well. Interesting how they catered to the A/AA this year and split divisions. Don't recall PCB doing this in the past. Good luck GA!!

The bottom half of the bracket is loaded with most of the top teams in the tournament. The Warriors look to have a pretty favorable path to the winners bracket final. They should get to that point without having to burn much pitching at all. The ECB Titans are looking good so far with their new additions. They might just come out of the bottom half of that bracket.

Yeah BBRus,looks like a division of A/AA and then mostly one of high AA/AAA (with a couple of majors). The lower bracket looks like an A/AA Atlanta NIT+beach. I'm actually surprised the Warriors are there, and not Gulf Shores or somewhere with more talent, given how well they are playing. Must be their planned beach trip.

Who did the Titans pick up? Good luck to the GA teams (which means good luck to basically all the teams down there, since it's all GA teams!)

The ECB Titans are on fire down at PCB! The boys are playing some great baseball and having a blast. A three year Titan veteran hit two home runs, another three year veteran pitched a shut-out against the Muskies. All 11 players (including 2 substitutions for injured players) played solid defense and offense and our "twin" pitchers held the Drillers to only three runs. We may be the underdogs but that's where we like to be!

Picked up pitcher from ECB Astros + another from JCS. Only 11 listed in their first game changer lineup from yesterday, 10 in second game with 1st game pitcher sitting out.

HR's..Great to hear... In the past they've had temporary fences up. I was afraid they'd be playin on the 300' softball fields and running all day long on one in the gap.. Any temporary fencing this year? Also, how deep are the fields the 11u boys are playing on? Going next week, curious to know the set up for 11U.

Sounds like some pretty solid additions, but will have to work their way out of loser's bracket.

With limited roster rules in some of these events, it's real difficult to know what team you have to play. Sounds like Titans didn't have a choice due to injuries.
