The West Forsyth Diamond Dawgs will be holding tryouts for the 2012/2013, 12U season on July 16-18, Monday-Wedsday from 6:00pm-9:00pm at West Forsyth High School softball field. Come to one or come to all. Please send an email to Coach Danny Bowman , bowmandanny@bellsouth.net for any questions and to confirm a spot.
The 12U Diamond Dawgs will once again compete at the majors level and play the most competitive tournaments available. We will end our 2013 season at Cooperstown.
We have just completed our 5th year of another tremendous season and looking to round out our roster to prepare for another competitive season. We teach the game of baseball at the highest level with a fun, productive atmosphere. We are returning a top notch coaching staff again for the 2013 season:
Coach Danny Bowman: Head Coach for the Diamond Dawgs for 5 years with a sincere love of teaching the great game of baseball to our youth.
Coach Mike Pruitt: Head Baseball Coach of West Forsyth High School who has a tremendous, "Old School" approach to teaching the smallest details of the game.
Coach Ryan Schade: Recently with the Florida Marlins organization and a standout player at Western Carolina. He's our "New School" guy with a passion for the game and for our boys.
Coach Dave Hopson: A stand out High School athlete who focused his athletic talent to a 4 year ride with the Ga. Tech golf team. A great motivator and teacher of hard work.
Coach Scott Huffman: Coach Huffman has done a tremendous job as our pitching coach. Understanding the strength's and weakness's of all the Dawg pitchers and working to improve there position on the mound.

The West Forsyth Diamond Dawgs will be canceling tryouts for this upcoming week. At this point, we only have a need for 2 very specific players. We are looking for a strong, Sunday pitcher and a utility player with a solid bat that can compete at an upper majors level.
If you feel that your son would fill this role and would like to look at our organization, we will have an open practice this Monday night, 7/16 and Weds. night 7/18 from 6:00pm until 8:30pm at our home field at West Forsyth High School softball field.
