Sandy Plains Travel Baseball Pre-Tryout Clinics
- Instruction from former Major League and College players
- Ability to be seen prior to tryouts by all Sandy Plains Managers and Coaches
- Get the rust off prior to tryouts at Sandy Plains and elsewhere
When: Saturday July 21st 8U-11U 8AM to 12PM
Saturday July 21st 12U-14U 1PM to 5PM
Saturday July 28th 10AM to 3PM 15U-18U
Cost: $60 per player
Instructors:
Ray Martinez - 14 year Professional Baseball Player with the Cleveland Indians, California Angels, Cincinatti Reds, and New York Mets organizations. 4 Major League Camps. 8 Year winter league player for Felipe Alou. Instructor at Winter camps, and prospect development for the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Dominican Republic.
Nelson Pedraza - 6 year Professional Baseball Player with the Cleveland Indians Organization. Current High School Coach. Coaches the highest level travel teams in the Atlanta Area.
Dennis Yancey - Former St. Petersburg Cardinals player, part of the St. Louis Cardinals Organization. 1 Major League Camp. Coached High level travel teams in the Atlanta area for 10 years.
John Michael Vidic - Former Lassiter HS, GA Tech, Tulane Player. Currently coaches high level travel in the Atlanta area.
Billy Shaughnessy - Former Lassiter HS, Mercer University, San Diego Padres Player. Currently Coaches at Sandy Plains.
