This is the NYO "B" team. Not the NYO team that everyone on this board talks about not being your typical rec all star team. Which they are but a very good one. Don't sleep on the "B" team though. |

I see NYO and Buckhead, NYO and Buckhead went back and forth in the District. The NYO "B" is better than most places "A", Buckhead "A" was super strong. |

Better watch out for Winston last year in World Series had 4 dominant pitchers and everyone knows who wins great pitching or great hitting!!! |

Not so fast my friends! Kennesaw didn't even win ther District. They lost back to back games to Acworth. Don't see Fannin in the ship because they are a 2 player team.I'm going with Acworth and NYO in the ship. Glad to see Allstars getting some love on this forum! |

SPIKE,THE WINSTON TEAM THAT FINISHED 2ND IN THE WORLD SERIES LAST YEAR MOVED ON TO TRAVEL BALL(WEST GEORGIA WOLVES).THE WINSTON TEAM THIS YEAR IS A SOLID TEAM, NOT QUITE AS DEEP WITH PITCHING,BUT THEY DO HAVE A GOOD OVER ALL TEAM. |

FANNIN...All you need is one player who is on. My brother poved that in little league. One stud can carry a whole team. That is how we won our one tournament this year. The FANNIN boy was on and we dominated.
DO IT FOR THE YETI! |

I agree with rjball anytime you have great team and add 4 players to it you have strengthend your team. Fannin team (for whatever reason :)) lost 4 strong players i look for it to really show up at state level. He who has the most bullets usually wins the battle. Kudos to Rome for adding players sign of great coach .... |

Dadof6 how would 2 player team win a baseball game and which 2 players are u refering to on fannin team. If indeed it is a 2 player team those 2 players must be exceptional because they won districit 2008, 2009, 2011,2012 quite the accomplishment for 2 players... |

LilBigtown That wasn't a shot to the rest of the team but fannin definitely has 2 players that are head and shoulders above everyone else. That is a good accomplishment winning Distict 4 times with that group but winning Distict and State are two different things. A couple of pitchers will get you thru district but I don't think they got the arms or bats to win State. Scouting report for Fannin- Don't pitch to the two big boys. If you do they will make it hurt.

Dizzy Dean brackets are here: http://dizzydeanga.org/brackets_2012.htm
Boynton Bulls are very strong. If you don't know them well, you will. They didn't compete in state last year after winning their district. I have seen them play several times this year, and our team played them twice. Solid all around. Look for them to do well. |

If the Fannin boys are going to make a run, they'll have to do it the hard way after a 1st round loss to NYO. Kennesaw also had a 1st round loss. Tough road ahead. |

Are their many homeruns being hit on the short fields. Anybody seen any bombs? |

I saw a couple. My son hit a pop up that went out and we had one other HR. Big kid from Fannin hit one on the roof and fouled one way down the line against us.
Heard there were 6 or 7 in one game on field 2.

Lot of credit goes to the Aragon team, not giving up after being in losers bracket. You may see them in championship. |
