After a great first weekend of our tryout clinic and over 110 players in attendance, Team Georgia Baseball Academy will host its secondary weekend of tryout clinics this coming weekend. This past weekends clinics were run by the TGBA Developmental Staff and will host the same caliber of workouts this weekend giving the same opportunity for players who missed this past weekend to showcase their skills to the coaches.

Team Georgia Baseball Academy is committed to not only developing kids into strong baseball players, but strong young men. We are not simply getting our players to the next level; we are fully committed to developing them into strong ballplayers on and off the field. We want our players to reach their greatest potential through our instruction and discipline. When we create a positive environment for baseball development, we ensure the overall progression of our entire TGBA organization.

Grand Slam Sports Center in Alpharetta,GA is the official Home of Team Georgia Baseball Academy. The instructors at GSSC are also the developmental staff for TGBA 9U-13U including Aaron Alvarez (Head of Player Development), Doug Livingston (Infield Roving Coach), Nic Ungs (Pitching Coordinator) and more to be named by the end of July. GSSC is the premiere indoor training facility in metro Atlanta with 13,000 sq ft of training space for our TGBA teams. You can visit www.grandslamsportscenter.com for more information.

What is the process and timing for call backs from the 1st round of tryouts for the 12U team? Realistically how many players are you looking at for the #1 12U team 1, 2, 3??

Realistically we are looking for the best players available, not to just fill spots. We have two teams that will be very good and have great talent to develop. Our teams are not labeled as #1 and #2 like most organizations. Blue and Red carry no significance. Our goal is to create the best two teams possible and from there let the development from our staff take over.
