Yes the Hitdawgs have brought down their 18u, 16u, 15u ,and 12u teams from Chaska, Minnesota! Great people and coach Shawn Wooten runs a first class program. Just wish we could have had more teams in the 12u this weekend. Oh well! We still got the teams playing a minimum of 4 games each!
Thanks and look forward to a great weekend!

Tony - it would be nice to have a larger turnout for our out of town guests, but I'm sure they will enjoy the 75-deg and sunny playing conditions you ordered up! |

Its just the time of year. These tourneys just tend to be weak. Anybody can grab a fall championship its up in the air. Sorry our Northern friends didnt get about 10 teams. |

Congrats to the 11 yr. old 643. Proud of your play, conduct and attitude. Held their ground against a season Major team. Although as to be expected for this time of year tourney a little weak. With no wins it appears that the Hit Dawgs from MN. could be classified as AA/AAA. Confused though, the players on Raw had a lot of players from the Dodgers who were on ATL Blues Jays. Is this going to be a new Spring team? What happen to Dodgers / Blue Jays? Note: I wish parents/kids would curb their language because we had to tolerate some raw language in the park. |

Yes some of the kids played with the Dodgers this Fall. It Didn' t work out. Sometime You can have too much talent on one team. Most of the Kids played on the Blue Jays 10/11u last year. This Team was mixed with 10/11/12u kids. We Wanted to to see how our new 12u kids would do playing together for the first time this Fall. But we never could get all of the 12s on the field at one time , because of basketball. But they played well. We were proud of the Defensive. Were turned several DP.And all the kids had good @ bats and really made contact hard. Wish the competion was better. But we did get to see the boys play. Didnt hear anything in the park that i didnt hear coming from both side. If my parents was using bad language. Please accept My apology, i will speak with them. That's Not How TEAM RAW/Atlanta Blue Jays Parents are Players Acts. Me a lil different |

Too much talent? Really, at what level? Most Majors that compete at the National level carry about 14 players. Except the Elite Majors ie Orlando Tigers 17, CFC 19, Combat 20 and Team MVP 25. These Coaches know how to work together and make practices count. Plus playing 80 + games everybody gets work. I dont remember how many Majors Tournaments the teams you mention won this fall or Spring if any. Sorry, I smell a parent afraid little Johnny wont get the playing time they want him to have. Doesnt matter the reason once this spreads its bad for all. If you are a true 12u Major replace the 11's with true 12 Majors and go compete in real Spring Major Tournaments. Tell the parents/coaches your kid has to work to keep his position. |

NQ - I'll agree that it's pretty near impossible to have "too much talent" if talent means you have kids that can all hit, pitch, and field very well at multiple positions...too much talent, I think not.
The EC Dodgers had very good talent last year; however, they couldn't hang onto enough as they lost players to 643, WPB, and NBS. If they could have kept that talent, especially the pitching, and added the bluejays contingent, they would have fair very well. But without those arms as evident in their fall record, it's evident that there wasn't enough of something.
But, I won't agree that it's "bad for all". This give the 12u division a chance to consolidate talent elsewhere...maybe...hopefully.
We all know 6 12u players with 4 11u plays and 2 10u players would never compete well at 12 major. I also don't think that's the squad we'll see Team Raw field in the spring.
I think JT was being politically correct in this election season; hence the characterization of the EC Dodger experiment as "to much talent". |

HB - I understand now. I think youre right. Sometimes print can be read and appear as it is not meant. My point is once there is conflict in the stands or the dugout it makes for a long season. |
