What's the word on the top teams in the state? I know East Cobb and Ga Yard Dogs but who else?

Maybe it's the Atlanta Blue Jays. Heard they are the Yard Dogs from last year, just change names.

Atlanta Blue Jays were Yard Dogs Red last year. They also picked up player from ECB Longhorns. We saw them at ATPP this past November, first time on field since summer. Pitching, hitting and baserunning were a little rusty but really solid.

Looks like the Yard Dogs lost to OTC this weekend.
My Top (5) in no order.
Longhorns
Yard Dogs Black
OTC
Elite Gamers Red
Atlanta Blue Jays
Others to watch
EC Yankees
Rookies
AW Warriors
I'm sure I missed some good teams, this list will change as the year progresses - it always does.

I watched the 9u tournament the past weekend at sandy plains. I did not know much about any of the teams but can tell you from what I saw the ECB Longhorns will be very tough to beat at this age group. I think they should play up at 10u to see better pitching and hitting as it will not be close at 9u.

Just saw that the 9U EC Longhorns are playing up in a 10U tournament at East Cobb next weekend. Looks like mostly AAA level teams so it'll be interesting to see how they do. That's a big step up but if your not getting challenged at 9U, why not?

I think they will play .500 ball next weekend. They'll beat the weak 10U teams. The more they play 10U the better they'll get! Then, the Longhorns will dominate their age group!
