Please please please do not sleep on the 8under east cobb longhorns. they are by far the best 8under team probably in the southeast. they rightfully deserve to play and compete in the 9yr. old division. If you throw some weak pitching at them, you will be in for a long day and maybe loose the game( just ask West Forsyth Diamond Dawgs).
Seems unfair that one team has to play a semi final game at Adcock (which is a great field but is a stretch of a drive from ATPP) and then travel to ATPP for the championship while the other side of the bracket waits for them. Will Adcock and ATPP double charge on gate fees if you have to play at both parks in one day? Hopefully the weather forecasters are wrong for Sunday and we can get this in.
baseballnutz: the atl. blue jays held a tournament last weekend in east point that later got moved to old national park cause of the weather. about 8 teams participated including a 10aa under allstar team. it was not worth any points just friendly competition with the blue jays and yard dogs in the championship game
