Thank you to the 25 Teams, the Coaches, and the families who all made the Xtreme Shootout a success this year. Although it was the 8th annual event; it had to be the best of all time.
The weather won at the end....but it was a great success as I saw many smiles during the course of the tournament.
Thanks everyone for making this another great event!!!
Will you update and post the final scores? We came up and watched some of the games. It was a fun tournament - made especially nice since we could watch without the gate fees! Made coming up to watch an easy decision on several occasions.
It is nice to see another organization that is not all about the money and all about the kids. The organizers of this tournament could have easily canceled this event after Sunday, (with no refunds because everyone had at least played two games), due to the conditions of the fields and chose to come out on their day off and work the fields for hours for the kids to play today. We almost got it in, but the rains came again and washed us out. The food in the coach's booth was great and all involved were extremely hospitable. This is truly the way a tournament needs to be run. Some other places around here should take note...Thanks Monty
It was a great tournament and congrats to all teams in the final 4... congrats to the whitesox who have come a long way to win this 1 due to weather... great job kennesaw we appreciate all the effort to get this one in
Can't control the weather and too bad the winner couldn't be determined on the field, but great effort by you guys to prepare the field and at least try to complete the Semi's.
Monty, You guys did an outstanding job this weekend. Thanks to you and all of the other Xtreme volunteers for making this one of the best tournaments we have participated in this year. We are already looking forward to next year and the 9th Annual Xtreme Shootout.
Agree with everything posted above. Monty and every parent, coach, and player with the Xtreme were over the top with hospitality at this event. Definitely the way all tournaments should be handled and run.
