Good weekend of baseball.
1. 5 Star-showed again why they are the best team in Ga. SS is wow
2. Tallahassee-great showing, couple of really good pitchers just 1 or 2 short
3. Astros-same old same old, best team on the north side
4. Panthers-did this last year, played dead in pool play then showed they are legit
5. Sig Park-might be #2 on north side besides Astros
6. 45's-same old same old, not going to fun to play
7. Gap-surprise of the weekend, nothing flashy just solid
8. Giants-surprise 2 of the weekend. small ball you to death
Think overall it played out pretty close to what everyone expected. There will be several teams each week who have a shot. Going to be a fun year |

1. 5 star is the real deal. Old Lynx guys from south ga.
2. Tallahassee AAA -Did we really think a team from FL was coming up here to bum out? They play year round and are well coached.
3. Astros-same old. Too much drama between them and Tallahassee. 90% curveballs when the fb not working and no one bites on the changeup. (Tommy John before 9th grade coming. Seen it too many times)
4. Panthers-Did just enough to make gold bracket - repeat from 10u. Not deep enough for this event but did well.
5. Giants-pure fundamentals of the game. No thrills just play. Looks like a new set of players.
6. SP-missing a few pieces to extend further. Gave 5 star their hardest battle
7. 45 Navy- rinse and repeat from 10u. New faces.
8. GAP-solid offense. Can see them getting better. Shocked Home Plate (Mobley)
9. Team Elite Futures-Almost there. On the verge of taking the Astros.
Silver Bracket was full of teams playing beyond their level, but nothing wrong with trying to run up to see what you got.

| Yard Dogs and Jaguars slipped into Silver but overall TC did a good job with pool matchups to keep the majors and top AAA teams in Gold. |

I called it a slip because 2 Majors teams that I have respect for and were probably expected to end up in Gold, ended up in Silver after close games that probably could have gone either way. The fact that they lost in the Silver bracket may be more indicative that some Silver teams aren't as bad as you made the group out to be than a reason for you to poke fun at the 11Yr olds on those two Majors teams for going 0-3. |

I was jabbing at you and your comments not 11Yr olds. I dont think any 11Yr olds are posting here. Maybe you didn't understand that. You have respect for them and that's fine. No biggie there. Like I said before for some this is the first tournament of the season and will need to work out kinks. I get it. Some people just hate to be wrong not matter what the truth is. And that is they both went 0-3. Ocee is a team that could give most major teams a run, but this is baseball. You never know who will come to play or not. |

| Ocee will give some major teams fits this year. They are pretty solid and have a stud lefty pitcher that has nasty stuff. They stopped a good hitting Ninth Inning Royals team that had won three straight after getting whipped by the Astros. Rather, I should say their "stud" pitcher stopped the hot hitting Royals... Ocee will be a gold bracket team as the season moves along. Ninth inning an upper silver bracket type team that may take some of the lower major teams from time to time. |
