Coaches/Parents,
This weekend (13) Major level 11U baseball teams will be playing for more than a ring, belt or trophy... they will be playing for sick kids! This weekend March 9th, 10th and 11th the first ever "KIDS PLAYING 4 KIDS" will play the first of a (4) tournament series where there will be one champion but the true winner is Children's Health Care!
The teams participating in the 2018 K4K are as follows:
*Outcast
*Colt .45's
*GA Select
*Home Plate (Mobley)
*Meridian Panthers
*Signature Park Bears
*643 Cougers
*Dacula Elite
*GA Yard Dawgs
*Home Plate (Fuller)
*The Club
*Big Stix Gamers (Sanders)
*Team Elite
The first tournament location is at Signature Park
(1675 Highway 211 N.W. Hoschton, GA. 30548). The next (3) tournament dates are:
*April 20th-22nd
*May 18th-20th
*June 9th-11th
100% of the proceeds from "Kids Playing 4 Kids" will go to Children's Health Care! Please come out this weekend, eat a hot dog, donate a little money and watch these amazing "Kids Playing 4 KIDS"! |

| Home Plate Mobley and Fuller are excited to be apart of such a great tournament and the great cause we are playing for. I also want to add that the Dacula Elite squad will be collecting baseball gear that people are looking to get rid of to take with them on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. There will be a trailer on site to load this equipment into, so if you are in the area of Signature Park this weekend stop by and make a donation of either kind...monetary for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta or baseball equipment for the kids of the Dominican Republic. | Sounds like a great tournament for a great cause. For those of us whose kids don’t play on one of those teams and will be at different parks all weekend, is there a website to follow the results or make a donation? Good luck to all. |

| Training Legends was gracious enough to allow us to use their Tourney Machine App as our official scoring spot and will have the bracket posted. It is listed under Kids 4 Kids. I will have to get back with you on the donation side of things. |

| The games begin tonight at 6:30. We will have 2 games at 6:30 and 2 at 8:30. Saturday games will begin at 9:00 and run all day. We will be taking cash donations as well. Come out and enjoy the game while helping a great cause. |

| There has been some great baseball over the last couple day! The final 4 are Gamers, Outcast, Dacula and the Club. Hopefully the rain will hold off to let this battle play out....if not there's always next month where we will have the same (13) teams in Griffin on April 20th,21st and 22nd. Kevin I hope you got your trash suit handy! |

| The first of the (4) Kids Playing 4 Kids tournament series is in the books! There was some great baseball, fellowship and the best thing we raised almost $5,000 for Children's Health Care. Congratulations to Outcast who is the #1 seed before the rain washed us out and Big Stixx Gamers as second place. Our next tournament will be April 20th-22nd in Griffin Ga.
