We are possibly looking for a team in Walton County. My son is currently 10 but will be 11 in February. Which age group should we start our search.
Been lurking the boards for a while now. Finally decided to join. My son says he wants to play travel ball but we are not sure if we are ready just yet. Just starting to really think about it again.
If you're looking for the 2015 season, then he can play no younger than his age on April 30. So, if on April 30, 2015, he'll be 11 (will turn 11 in Feb), so he can play on an 11u or older team.
Unless his skillset and size is such that you'd need to place him on a 12 or 13u team, I'd look for teams that are currently playing 10u and will be 11u in 2015.
