No there is not the Mazzone Cup for 2009. Not to be confused by the Memorial Day Mazzone Tournament.
As many may remember, there was a website set up to track team's performance in specific tournaments (Super NIT's, State Tournaments, etc) and award the "Mazzone Cup" to the team that ended with the most points. The PC Vipers won it for 12U last year, if I am not mistaken.
It just got too hard to manage and update so it is not returning for 2009.
As for the "Leo Mazzone Rockin' Memorial Day Tournament", it is going strong and can be found at the website "Storm Baseball" listed above. |
