just wondering when you might release pools. Also, got any more signed Chipper Jones rookie cards this year? My younger son wants one this year  |

There will be an announcement at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon on both the www.leomazzonetournament.com web site, as well as the TOURNAMENTS section of the NWBA site. You should see a post for that announcement in the TOURNAMENT section right now.
As for the Chipper Cards, we only have a few left after the past couple of years of giving them away to the kids, so we couldn't do anything like we've done in the past. We're saving them for worthy cause silent auctions now. |

Here is the decision the tournament staff has made on the pitching rules. It is contained in the "Offical Tournament Rules" being sent to the coaches and being posted on the website.
THE MAZZONE TOURNAMENT STAFF HAVE DECIDED TO LEAVE THE PITCHING LIMITS UP TO THE COACH’S DISCRESSION. WE BELIEVE YOU CAN BETTER MANAGE YOUR PITCHERS INNINGS, AND OWN THE RESPONSIBILITY OF DOING WHAT IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF YOUR PLAYERS.
MLB MOUND VISIT RULES WILL BE USED. ON THE SECOND VISIT TO THE MOUND, IN ONE INNING, TO THE SAME PITCHER, WILL RESULT IN THE PITCHER BEING REPLACED. THEY MAY REMAIN IN THE GAME AS A POSITION PLAYER, HOWEVER. |
