Dear Young Players,
Do you know what's so great about the game of baseball? If you are determined enough, devise a practical plan of action, and begin putting that plan into effect, you have a chance to simply keep playing the game of baseball.
We live in a results based society, but we cannot be consumed by our results (or a lack thereof). Baseball is a game of processes and approach. We can only control our preparation and our approach to the game -we have no control over outcomes.
Young players, there will be peaks and valleys during this journey. We must learn to weather the storm. Embrace the moments in the valley and simply regroup and recover. Keep performing baseball activities and continue to learn this game. If you want to make your team - become determined enough to make your team. Baseball is a brutally honest sport, and we often know our own weaknesses. Take a moment to self-evaluate and be honest with yourself. Look into the mirror and decide to address your weaker areas and then forge ahead and pray to be able to play baseball for as long as you desire to play the game of baseball.
Don't just dream about it, act on it...
