1. Homeplate Searcy - called it after we first played them, have 4-5 kids that would be the top pitcher for almost any other team 2. STB - great season, scrappy team. Big lefty is a workhorse and one of best in ga 3. Titans blue - seem to be there at the end of every tournament 4. Cellblock agree with other posters that they are unknown at this time still - could be higher or maybe not even on this list 5. East Cobb Astros Navy - talent top to bottom but season has been up and down. Could be top hitting team in the state 6. GA Bombers - all big kids that can hit 7. Team Elite Premier - quality team with quality wins all year, a piece or two away from being in the top tier 8. 643 Cougars - lots of talent with not much to show for it 9. Meridian Panthers - very athletic 10. Georgia Power Myers 11. Homeplate Copeland - good team that sometimes gets lost in the discussion due to how elite the top Homeplate team is 12. Barrett Braves - solid
Can't really argue your teams, other than positioning... Hard to lump some who played majority 54/80, while others were strictly 60/90. For comparison, I'd solely look at performance and records from 60/90 with at least 2-3 of the top 5 teams in said tourney. Some went deep into tourneys with only 1 other of your 'top 12' teams listed. Hard to call that 'solid' or a top whatever team. |

Agree with some of your choices. Have seen all these teams. No doubt Searcy at the top with that pitching staff. STB really does get a lot of their kids for the talent they have. But Cellblock just has some stud players that other teams do not. Interesting though that you feel teams with a losing record belong in the top 10. |
