Good field of teams. Going with Blue Claws in top four and possibly the ship.

Watch out for the East Cobb Spartans and Titans Baseball. Two solid teams that are well coached.

Titans are IMO the most talented team there that I have seen, I know there is a lot of love for the Blueclaws I just havent seen them yet.....I do know the St Pete Saints are really good and earlier they beat every team not named Team Florida..... Keep us informed to what is going on up there!!

pool games don't mean squat in cooperstown cause there are so many rec level teams that enter this event, once you get down to the final 16 or even 8 is when the handful of good teams play each other. You will see several of the teams that finished in the top 12 will lose their 1st bracket game, blueclaws will advance far but got a feeling they will fall just short of the final game winner.

Last match-ups between Blue Claws/Titans & Blue Claws/Saints went in favor of the Blue Claws...

I am onsite to watch my grandson play with his rec all star team out of Maryland. I watched an early Blue Claws game and Saints 6th game. I saw the the Titans for all of four innings and Ec Spartans for the same amt of time. It is going go boil down to quality pitching. With the loose pitching rules it will be interesting, Does anyone know about the Central AL Rebels as they are being talked about a lot here? The Saints look sharp and sound fundamentally. But had some jams that they buckeled down to shut the team down. The Blue Claw group had jitters and a key error at third that cost them a run and possibly the num one seed. They got in jam with not being able to throw strikes but always got out relatively un hurt. Spartans are hitting drives over and no rinky dink pop flys. Titans looked confident. It will be a toss up. I am thinking a team is going to surprise the odds on favorites.

I hope a Florida team wins it this week. Wonder if Saints and Blueclaws have enough pitching depth to win it without overuse of any one fragile arm.

Should be ok pitching wise. 13 players 6 that you can pitch in any elimination game and 3 servicable in spot duty. Hope the run continues.

One down. Will the run last?
