The Titans just got home from The Ripken Tournament at Myrtle Beach. they swept through the Tournament with a 8-0 record and won championship game 7-0! they finished the summer on a 17-0 win streak and finished summer with a 30-6 record over their 5 week schedule together!
It will be a long time, if ever, before there is another rec all star team as good as this NYO Titan team. These elite travel teams should be recruiting several of these kids.
just curious, what is NYO's record vs the elite travel teams? I know they've beaten the RBA Titans twice and the longhorns once but lost to the braves twice and astro too?? I agree they are a good team but wouldn't call them elite
BravesFan, if you read the post again nobody ever called them "elite". Just a very good rec all star team that gave several "elite" travel teams all they could handle.
The Braves beat them in a hard fought game. It is difficult to just simply give teams credit where it is due. The NYO team is simply a really good baseball team. There are very few elite groups at our age. Elite teams play and rarely ever lose. Take a look at the Bandits in 13U. They are elite. When people post that the Bandits lose, it is because it is a shocker. When the Braves lose, it takes a good team but is not a shocker.
