Perhaps ECY did not run out of pitching but were giving some of the kids who have not pitched yet this fall some mound time and teaching the pitcher how to work through adversity.
You know, training the kids instead of caring about a win in a fall tournament.

I think the coach has readily admitted he did not follow the rules. Rules should apply at all times, otherwise why have rosters and rules to begin with. This one may have been an honest mistake but the next one may not, the correct decision was made by the coordinator. Let's teach kids the right way.

I guess if you cannot beat them on field then you have to resort to a clerical error to get a win. Come on man.. this is Fall baseball with fluctuating rosters due to other sports. Everybody, even the kids on both teams knew who won that game!

The coach was notified of what we were going to do in the 2nd inning, we wanted to play more ball(we live 1hr 15min away and played 9am games both days, all the other teams were from Cobb, so why did we have to get up at 6am and play baseball?), so we played it out and yes they kicked our butt, and yes their illegal player started
SS and pitched(didn't pitch against East Atl)..Needless to say coahes shouldn't put other coaches in that situation, nobody comes out on top. And yes, the Alpharetta coach was mad so he wanted to protest one of my players, which were legal, it got ugly just because he didnt do his job of putting a player on his roster. We didn't drive all the way to Cobb to get screwed. Our team played well and had RBI and ECB Dodgers shut out going into the 5th inning, coaches should continue to fight for their players and make sure the game is played accordingly.
